He is a pillar of the community, giving his time to coach Pop Warner football and Little League baseball for over a decade. In 1994, he began a charity golf tournament for the Children’s Cancer Center through his former organization, the Acacia group. After six successful years, John and other sponsors reached out to others in the community to embrace the event in partnership with the Phoenix Children’s Hospital and created the cornerstone of what is now one of the best charity golf tournaments in Arizona. John is a graduate of Virginia Tech with a Bachelor of Science – Finance. John, his wife, Cindy and their four children reside in Scottsdale.
